Netra has completed her master’s degree in biochemistry from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. She also has MS (Toxicology) from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, USA.
She is working on metal organic framework based theranostics for head and neck cancer.

Sarmistha has completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Gold Medalist) from Government Dental College, West Bengal University of Health Sciences. She discovered her special interest in applications of nanotechnology for cancer while working as a junior resident in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology & Diagnosis.
Presently, she is working on development of a nanotheranostic platform for Oropharyngeal Carcinoma.
Rahul Kumar, M.Tech.

Rahul Kumar has completed his M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar and B.Tech in Industrial Biotechnology from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, J&K.
He has joined Dr Raviraj Vankayala at Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur in August 2020. He has experience in 3D and 2D cell culture.
Currently, He is working on photo-theranostic applications of 2D nanomaterials.

Antony Vincy graduated with a B.tech degree in Biotechnology from MSEC affiliated to Anna University, Tamil Nadu. She did her final thesis from IISc, Bangalore, in the field of Molecular & Cellular biology. Inspired from various research going on there she developed interest towards therapeutics and nanotechnologies.
Currently, she is focused on nano drug delivery systems for theranostic applications.
Shubham Kumar Singh, M.Sc.

Shubham has completed his B.Sc. in Zoology from Kolhan University, Jharkhand and M.Sc. in Zoology from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
He has interest in neuroscience (specially neurodegenerative diseases) and cancer. Currently he is focused on applications of drug delivery systems in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
Rishabh Kumar Srivastava, M.Sc.

Rishabh has completed B.Sc in Zoology, Chemistry and Botany from Dr. RML Avadh University, Ayodhya (U.P) and M.Sc in Life Sciences from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow (U.P). In dissertation (M.Sc.), he has worked on Drosophila melanogaster (parasitology and molecular biology discipline).
His research interest lies in cancer biology,neuroscience and drug delivery.
He has joined the lab in July, 2023.

Jyoti holds a Bachelor's degree in dental Surgery from M.R. Ambedkar Dental College & Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (Karnataka) with experience of 2 years as clinical practitioner & 1 year as Dental consultant with Toothsi, India's leading clear aligner brand to design personalized treatment plans by utilizing cutting-edge clear aligner technology. After witnessing the transformative power of technology in healthcare used during the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed a profound interest in medical devices. Now she is determined to channel her clinical background and passion for technology into contributing to the innovation and advancement of medical devices, with a focus on improving patient care and healthcare solutions.
Currently she is working on developing a Nanocarrier-assisted drug delivery system for Intravesical drug instillation in urinary bladder cancer patients to reduce patients' hospital visits & procedures.
Mansi Agarwal, B.Tech.

Mansi Agarwal has done her Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology, Noida. She did her bachelor's project on the Effect of soybean on breast cancer-specific targets identified by single-cell sequencing.
Currently, she is learning new techniques in the Nanotechnology domain like Nanosheets and nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery.

Subhrajyoti Mallick completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Zoology from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara, followed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pondicherry University in 2023. Currently pursuing a Master of Technology (MTech) degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur, is deeply interested in researching drug delivery systems with nanoformulations, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease.
Dr Shivay Parihar , MBBS

Shivay Parihar is a trained clinician and completed his MBBS from Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur.
He is interested in research on ageing biology and strategies to halt the ageing process.
At the Nanomed Lab, he is working as a research intern on senolytic drug delivery using nanoparticles for targeting senescent cells.
Tiasa Das, B.Sc.

Tiasa graduated from Christ University, Bengaluru in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in a triple major course of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Zoology. She worked at the Department of Virology at Indian Council of Medical Research-NICED, Kolkata as a summer intern. Her interests are associated with organic synthesis, chemosensors and therapeutics. Currently, she is working on the nanotheranostics platform as an aid to deal with carcinoma.

Prateek holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently pursuing his M.Tech. and PhD in Medical technology. He is working on developing bio-compatible antibacterial coating using nanotechnology for bio medical applications and technology to prevent biofilm formation.
Sanskar Jain, B.Sc.
Research Intern (July 23 - Present)
Sanskar completed his bachelors in the triple major course of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Zoology from Christ University, Bengaluru in 2023. He has previously worked at ASTER Labs in their diagnostic wing. He also has interests in molecular biology, cytology and aims to delve deeper into the world of fundamental research. Currently he is working on developing a model BBB to test the feasibility of transport of nanoparticles through it.

Yohan Gaikwad
Technical Assistant (Sep 22-Feb 23)
Yohan Gaikwad did his bachelor's in Nanoscience and technology from Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Science, Satara, Maharashtra. His bachelor's project was based on the synthesis of graphene oxide for application in DSSC.
He joined as Technical Assistant for a period of 5 months at IIT jodhpur under the project; "Detection of coliform bacteria for smart water management". Inway with the project he also worked on the synthesis of polydopamine nanoparticles and drug loading for cancer theranostics.
Arjun Pathak, M.Tech.
Research Assistant
Arjun Pathak has done his bachelor's in Biotechnology from Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, U.P affiliated with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University. He has done his final year thesis on Nanoparticles and their applications in wastewater. For his masters project at IIT Jodhpur, he focussed on graphene-based nanosystems for theranostic applications. He has also worked as a research assistant in the Nanomed lab.

Imankalyan Nag has completed his B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Calcutta and now Pursuing his M.Sc in Biotechnology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.
At Nanomed Lab, he worked on light-activated Ti3C2 nanosheets and their theranostic applications.

Yumnam Prince has completed his masters from Manipur University of Canchipur, Manipur, in plant physiology. He finished his M.Tech degree on niosomes as drug delivery vehicles for theranostic applications from IIT Jodhpur. He also worked as a research assistant in the Nanomed lab.
